The SSA Ticket to Work Program
How It Works & How Susan Puts It to Work for You
The SSA’s Ticket to Work program is a free, voluntary program that helps people with disabilities ages 18–64 move toward financial independence. One of the biggest fears for anyone on SSI or SSDI is losing benefits before they’re truly ready. Ticket to Work is designed to address exactly that, allowing you to explore employment and build toward self-sufficiency without an automatic loss of your benefits.
The program works by connecting eligible beneficiaries with approved Employment Networks; organizations and providers who deliver the actual employment services. Maine Vocational Solutions is one of those approved providers, through its membership in the American Dream Employment Network (ADEN).
Maine Vocational Solutions & ADEN
How We Validate Your Ticket to Work
ADEN is a division of the National Disability Institute and the first national Employment Network to offer in-person services to Ticket holders nationwide. As an ADEN member, Maine Vocational Solutions brings that national framework to your doorstep — with personalized, one-on-one support that larger networks simply can’t provide.

Vocational Rehabilitation
Your skills haven’t disappeared. Let’s find where they fit.
When an injury or condition changes what work looks like for you, the goal isn’t just to get back to work; it’s to find the right work.
As a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Susan provides expert guidance to help injured and/or disabled workers re-enter the workforce in roles that align with their real abilities, experience, and goals, not just what they used to do.
Susan works closely with claimants, employers, and legal representatives throughout the voc rehab process. All while maintaining clear communication, developing a tailored action plan, and keeping cost-containment in mind at every stage.

Medicare Set-Aside Reporting
Expert MSA reporting. Compliant settlements. Protected clients.
Settling a workers’ compensation claim is complicated. Making sure Medicare is protected — and your settlement holds up — doesn’t have to be.
When a settlement includes funds for future medical care, federal law requires that Medicare’s interests be protected. Failing to do so can result in legal action and loss of Medicare benefits. A Medicare Set-Aside (MSA) Allocation is the mechanism that ensures compliance — a detailed report identifying anticipated future medical expenses and confirming what Medicare will and won’t cover.
Maine Vocational Solutions provides expert MSA Allocation reporting services for claims professionals, structured settlement brokers, and legal representatives navigating this process.

With Maine Vocational Solutions
- Pre-settlement case review & consultation
- Assessment of whether an MSA Allocation is required
- Social Security Disability status & entitlement assessment
- Medical record review & cost analysis
- Full Set-Aside Trust Allocation report preparation

The system is complicated. Every situation is different.
Susan makes it clear, accurate & right for you.
